At Juban Ramen & Tapas, the ramen steals the show with a rich variety of broths and flavors that cater to every palate. Whether you're drawn to the classic Shoyu Ramen featuring soy sauce–infused pork broth with tender chashu, crunchy bamboo shoots, and a perfectly cooked half egg, or the hearty Miso Ramen boasting a deep, savory miso broth complemented by sweet corn and fresh bean sprouts, the soups here are a luscious marriage of texture and taste. For those who prefer a lighter yet equally satisfying experience, the Shio Ramen offers a delicate salt-flavored broth that’s brightened by the umami notes of kikurage mushrooms and green onions.
Vegetarian guests will appreciate the thoughtfully crafted Vegetarian Jigoku Ramen, which brings a bold, spicy kick while maintaining the comforting warmth of traditional ramen. And if you’re looking to elevate your bowl, choose from an enticing list of extras—black garlic oil for a smoky depth, an extra egg with its velvety yolk, or fresh mushrooms to add earthiness.
Complementing the ramen are exquisite tapas-style small plates that showcase the diversity of Japan’s culinary landscape. The Tako Yaki, with its crispy golden exterior and tender octopus filling topped with savory bonito flakes, is a crowd favorite, while the Deep Fried Gyoza tempt with their crispy edges and juicy, flavorful pork filling. Other must-tries include the lightly battered Fried Shrimp that deliver a satisfying crunch, and the creamy Agedashi Tofu that melts effortlessly with every bite.

We’ve been here a few times and the ramen has never disappointed. Seems like they are trying to change up the menu. Tried the spicy tofu ramen today and loved it! Had the right blend between Japanese ramen and Korean spice. Server was very friendly and the place is super clean. Surprised that there aren’t more people lined up for this place. Truly a hidden gem in Milpitas!
The Juban Ramen & Tapas restaurant is a wonderful little japanese restaurant. It is well known for its delicious ramen noodels and definitely worth a try. You may choose from various meals and it is prepared real fast. The taste is great and the service is spot on. Prices are fair and the over all quality real god.
Nice little ramen store with an assortment of more traditional ramen flavors and a couple of specialities. Their tonkotsu ramen was solid with good broth. I've tried quite a few so far but theirs was fine, not amazing but is good. Their takoyakk was a bit mid though. Overall not bad at all and pricing is about what you would expect from similar ramen stores now a days.
Great ramen and very warm owner! I tried black garlic ramen which was beyond my expectation. 5 star for American standard. 4.5 star for Japanese standard. Could have been better if egg was a bit warmer. Anyway, very good ramen place without long line and good price.
Service was super quick and nice. We ordered the Tonkotsu, black garlic and the tantanmen ramen. All three were so delicious and flavorful. Pretty affordable too. We went around 6pm on a Friday night and there was plenty of space but the space is pretty small so it was pretty packed by the time we left. Definitely would recommend.
If you're a vegetarian who loves ramen, you'll definitely enjoy this place. They have tasty broth and a variety of veg options. We went there with a couple of friends and loved the vibe, along with the delicious ramen. Tried the veggie version of spicy tofu ramen and the curry ramen, and they were both really tasty!
The ramen is delicious and the broth is excellent. The service is great too. I’ve already been here several times, and I highly recommend it.
